Setting up your own free key

Make a key at Google AI Studio. It is free and takes about two minutes. Google limits how much you can use a free key each day: about 45 to 90 minutes of play, after which you wait until it resets the next morning. That limit is set by Google, not by us. A free key also runs a lighter Dungeon Master: a faster model with thinking switched off and a shorter memory.

Running the storyteller on your own computer Ollama

Free, private and entirely yours. The model runs on your machine through Ollama, so nothing you write leaves your computer. It is slower than Gemini, and Ollama has to be open while you play.

Design
